The ages of bride and groom are both given as 36 years, yet on the marriage licence (qv) Randle has sworn that both are aged 21. Strange!
  Notes	The ages of Randle and Nancy are obscure. The marriage bond gives both their ages as 21, which suggests that they were born in 1763. The marriage record gives them both as 36, which suggests their birth year was 1748. Randle's burial record in 1802 gives his age as 53, suggesting a birth year of 1749. At Nancy's death in 1823, her age is given as 77, which suggests a birth year of 1746. No local baptism records have been found for either. [2]
